Idaho to New Mexico Car Shipping

I dont think this company does any real due diligence on their carriers. A 15hr drive to deliver a motorcycle took 4 days after original estimate was next day. $700 with their fees. No show, no call the original delivery date. Steve Goodman was barely responsive except for one call. Carrier they picked barely exists online. Thank god I made Steve send their insurance certificate and I made sure my insurance company would cover and do the chasing had damage occurred. If they arent providing oversight than just use UShip.

I shipped a brand new $15,000 Yamaha Viking UTV from Montana to Oregon. Even though the driver did not have the title, it would have been easy to sell this this for $5000 to a ranch along the way and I would never see it. I did a lot of research on Ship A Car, Inc. before deciding to use them, and my UTV arrived safely and my wife is HAPPY! Not only did they give me the best price, but they shipped it in an enclosed trailer. I would definitely use them again.

The Ship A Car rep told me everything that I needed to know. Everything went as well as it could have. However, in-between times, I didn't get any updates. But as far as the information he gave me and what was done, it was spot on. The pickup was in Columbus, Ohio and the drop-off was in Frisco, Texas. The car got there a day earlier than expected, so that was a plus. I was happy about that. The driver was also great. He called and said he was about 40 minutes out. He dropped it off, signed the paperwork and received the money. I will recommend Ship A Car to anybody going that route.

i am very pleased with Jocelyn with Ship a Car, she helped me with booking a driver to ship a car to my son from Georgia to Utah. I was sceptical at first from talking to other compananies and they were giving me different answers about a quote. Jocelyn was straight up with me, she gave me her word that she would not stop until she got me a driver and stay in contact with me the entire process which she did. even after my son received the car she checked with me to make sure everything was good. I moved from NJ to OR and had to ship my 2 cars. I was flying out on Sunday 8/29 and as requested I gave them a 3 days window - Thursday 25th through Saturday 28th - for the pick up to match my travel schedule. Since the first call I told them that I was moving on Sunday and they assured me that they could pick them up on the window given. They didn't show up until Sunday a couple hours before I had to leave to the airport. It was a bit of stress for me which could have been avoided if they had shown up within the 3 days window I had given. However, besides that all went well. Cars arrived in 6 days which was less than they had estimated (7-10 days). I recommend using Ship a Car but if you have planned travels I suggest you consider at least a 5 days windows before your travel date.

We used Ship a Car to transport a vehicle from Colorado to Pennsylvania. We could not be happier with the professionalism and timeliness of the experience. In oarticilar, Howard, the man we worked with was fantastic and attentive.

We shipped a 2000 Camry from VA to NE. The only drawback was that it took 2 1/2 weeks to get a carrier. The pick up and delivery was flawless and the car was in the same excellent condition on delivery as on pick up. We received excellent service from our agent, Lawrence Knapp. We have no reservations recommending this company.

I would allow this company to transport my car again I first spoke with Bob, who is a very pleasant, easy to talk to, caring fellow. He goes beyond most companies in trying to find a car transporter for the date needed. He returns calls quickly and stays in touch with updates. I really enjoyed working with him as he's just so pleasant and on top of things.

I was shipping my car from Texas to NY. Janet was the one who was helping me all throughout the process. She was very professional, helpful, and responsive. The driver came in front of our house and took the car and dropped it off as scheduled. I would recommend Janet and this company to everyone. It was a Good experience for me.

Contacted SHIP A CAR and spoke with Steve. He took my order and ensured me that the motorcycle would be picked up by Friday, September 25th. After not receiving a phone call, contacted Steve who said he would let me know and did not. Finally got in touch with the shipping company who then told me it was actually scheduled for Saturday the 26th. The owner contacted me Saturday once the motorcycle was loaded. I was originally quoted four days of travel time to receive the motorcycle. No updates were given during this time. On the 5th day, after 4 hours of trying to reach Steve, the shipping company, or the driver, i was finally informed that the truck was broke down. I was assured it would be repaired by Friday October 2nd (already 3 days behind expected delivery). Monday October 5th, I was told the truck was repaired and the driver was in route. 2 more days of no communication from SHIP A CAR or the shipping company. I was finally able to talk to the shipping company and driver. The motorcycle finally arrived on October 8th. Communication from SHIP A CAR was absolutely horrible. Multiple times i was told “I will check and call you back”, never to receive a call. I understand trucks break down, I feel other arrangements on SHIP A CAR’S part should have been made to receive my motorcycle in a timely manner.

We have used Bob Moran at this location several times to ship our vehicles. He is very personable and has always treated us as if we are his top priority. Our vehicles have always been shipped and delivered as promised. He even was able to arrange the same day pick up a few days before hurricane Dorian was scheduled to hit Florida which exceeded our expectations. Great service!

Car was shipped from PA to Las Vegas. Unload was rush rush and car was covered in dust/dirt. As most would do....Gave a cursory look over of the car and signed the bill of lading hurredly. Days later cleaned the car and found black duct tape covering a crack on the rear fiberglass spoiler. A deliberate and premeditated effort to hide the damage. Contacted ship-a-car. Justin V. Had ALWAYS been overly helpful and polite. Much to my dismay when I contacted the sub contractors insurance company they said the subs insurance was not in force. This is In direct contradiction of my agreement with shipACar. I’m hoping shipACar comes thru. Stay tuned. I will keep you posted. Weeks later. STILL NO RESPONSE/SATISFACTION Ship A Car inc sent m a subcontractor who did not have insurance in effect. I shipped FOUR cars cross country with shipacar Four. The sub hid damage under dirt and black duct tape. Shipacar basically said I did not note the damage on the bill of lading. It was hidden and they hired uninsured sub. Be aware. Spread the word. I gave them a chance to settle for a fraction of the damage. Ignored. W S. Las Vegas.

I used them to transport a repo'd car from Michigan to North Carolina. This means I had to be a middle man between the shipping company and the repo yard, it was no walk in the park, but thanks to Theo at ship-a-car he was very patient and worked very hard to get me a driver to pick the car up (very difficult time slot for pick-up from repo yard) I couldn't have done it without his help and his determination to provide me with the best customer service possible. I had planned to have my Harley picked up about a week in advance. I put down a $200 deposit a guy told me you are good for Saturday. Well Saturday came no one shows up. I call the guy I spoke to about the whole deal... no answer. Call the guy Bob who is the driver no answer.... call the main office lady picks up gives me another number to call..... no answer call her back... no answer. Moving to Texas in 3 days... not happy...... finally got a call back from Bob.... Bob is driving around Wisconsin.... I’m in Ny.... thanks Bob

Bob worked with me explaining the process for shipping a car and once I had sent in my paperwork he went to work finding a driver to transport my car. When the first driver's dispatcher called to let me know my driver's truck broke down, I immediately called Bob and explained the situation. He got to work finding a new driver for my car. Easy and efficient. Finding a driver was a little difficult given my location but Stephen did it! The driver, Pavel, texted me with the estimated time of pick-up which was exact. He told me what day my car would arrive and again, gave me an accurate time of delivery. All went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this company.

I called up Ship A Car and they were very courteous on the phone. They were understanding that at my age, I'm not quick on the computer and on a whole bunch of things. But I knew what I wanted. They said they would find somebody. They said, "Give us a day." They came back and gave me a basic price. Then they came back and said, "We found somebody who will do it for $50 less. It's enclosed. Everything is perfect. We've had a lot of good feedback with them." So I gave them my credit card and they took their money. I also paid for the extra insurance because it was a specialty car.   Ship A Car reduced the amount that they would get in their pocket by $50 when carrier number one could not pick up the car timely and they had to go to carrier number two, which was the fellow I ended up with. It was perfect. The guys were personable and it was a nice experience. The only thing was that I didn't know when the driver was going to show up. They said, "We'll pick it up Friday or Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever." They couldn't give me a time. So the gentleman called me and said that they were stuck at the car dealership so instead of getting here at 10 in the morning, they were going to arrive at 2:00 or 3:00. He kept me posted along the way telling me when he was going to arrive. So it was a pleasant experience. When the driver pulled up, he had a Porsche in there, which he pulled out and then put my car in the middle because of the way it was going to be dropped off at the other location. They strapped it all down. He took pictures before it left. Then it was in Nebraska from Long Island in a couple of days. They said it could take anywhere from four to six days, but it only took two and a half days. I was very pleased. My son looked at the car when it arrived and it arrived just the way it left.

About a month ago, I contacted your company thru one of your agents, Fernanda Lopez, to make arrangements to pick-up and transport a limousine from New York to my home; this was my first experience with shipping a vehicle and Ms. Lopez helped make it a pleasant one; I do not take service that "exceeds expectations" for granted and therefore felt compelled to write this note. I booked vehicle transport with Ship A car Inc, twice in the past month. The first, the seller cancelled the sale the day that the hauler was scheduled for pick up. YIKES! Contacted Lisa from Ship A Car and she handled everything. I found another BMW K75 for sale, bought it..., and the first call that I made was to Lisa from Ship A Car. Once again, Lisa and Ship A Car Inc. handled everything exceptionally well. Vehicle pick-up and delivery by a company specializing in motorcycle transport. The vehicle arrived earlier than expected (2 days instead of 4) and in perfect condition. Lisa was great at communicating via email and phone (even for a customer that doesn't have an umbilical to his phone.) Would use them again..., in a second!

We used Ship a Car to transport 2 of our vehicles from Salt Lake City to Nashville. Justin was on it as soon as I gave the go ahead. The drivers arrived a little early, but patiently waited and our cars arrived one, before we did (but we had made arrangements for it to be received), the other as scheduled a couple of days later. No damage to either vehicle, just a lot of road dust as to be expected. I use them again in a heart beat and they were half the price of all the others and less that a week ship time.
